The demo row needs careful wording. A demo was promoted for Steam Next Fest earlier in 2026 and retired on July 22 before release. An old announcement does not prove that the same build is still downloadable; the released game and the current official listing are the deciding checks.
Controller support
Akatori has unusually specific controller metadata on Steam: full controller support, gamepad recommended, DualShock support and DualSense support. That confirms an intended controller-first experience, but it does not confirm identical prompts, vibration or special features for every controller model. Press coverage documented an Akatori demo around the February 2026 Steam Next Fest. The developer retired the Steam demo on July 22, 2026, and the full game is now available. As of August 12, the current Steam app data does not expose a demo entry, so the demo is described as history, not a guaranteed live download.
No Steam Deck Verified or Playable rating was confirmed. Full controller support, a 10 GB storage requirement and modest minimum hardware are encouraging signals, but only Valve’s compatibility panel can establish an official rating.
Codes, multiplayer and achievements
The official page does not describe a redeem menu, gift-code feature or active promotional codes. Do not trust pages that substitute random strings for an official source or in-game redemption path.
